Nagpur: The MIDC police have registered a case against a juvenile for the murder of his drunkard father and sent him to juvenile reformation centre.
According to police sources, the deceased identified as Surendra Bhimte aged 27 years and a resident of Digdoh was sleeping in his bed on the night of Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He suddenly fell off his bed in a seriously injured condition.
During the course of police investigation it came to fore that the deceased was in the habit of drinking alcohol causing unbearable frustration to his juvenile son. As a result, the son assaulted his father with the shaft of an axe grievously injuring him. The juvenile offender has been arrested by Police Sub Inspector Shiurkar of MIDC Police and a case has been registered under section 302 of Indian Penal Code against the juvenile offender. After performing the formalities, the juvenile offender was sent to reformation centre. Further investigations are underway.
