Nagpur: Pratapnagar police, in a function organized recently, returned the stolen booty, including vehicles, gold ornaments and other material, to the rightful owners. A total of 19 vehicles, including a four-wheeler collectively worth Rs 4.40 lakh, lifted from different areas under Pratapnagar Police Station jurisdiction, were returned to the complainants/original owners. Similarly, gold ornaments valued at Rs 1.60 lakh and laptops, mobile phones and other stuff worth Rs 1 lakh were returned. The total value of returned goods stands at Rs 7 lakh.
The function was organized in the presence of Officiating Deputy Commissioner of Police Kalasagar, ACP Shekhar Tore (Sonegaon Division), Senior PI Shivaji Gaekwad, PI Dnyaneshwar Patil and other officials and personnel of Pratapnagar Police Station. API Rajput, Naik Police Constables Ashok Tiwari, Gautam Ramteke coordinated the programme.
