Nagpur: In another incident of crime against women, a 44-year-old woman was raped repeatedly for four years i.e. 12:30 pm of August 4, 2012 to 7 pm of August 5, 2016 in Jaripatka area.
According to police sources, the victim divorced her husband 4 years ago. She was living in Jaripatka area. The accused identified as Swapnil Madhukar Dhone aged 34 years and resident of Plot No 12, Verma Layout, Ambazhari established friendship with the victim. Once the friendship strengthened, with a lure of marriage, the accused started establishing physical relationship with the victim. The accused has been raping the victim continuously for four years i.e. 12:30 pm of August 4, 2012 to 7 pm of August 5, 2016.
To add to this offence, the accused used to show porn videos to the victim and indulged in unnatural sex with the victim. However, when the victim started pressurizing the accused for marriage, he showed no inclination for marriage.
On the basis of complaint lodged by the victim, Woman Police Sub Inspector Shirke of Jaripatka Police Station registered a case under Sections 376 (2)(N), 377 and 506 of Indian Penal Code and has initiated an investigation into the matter
