Nagpur News: A middle-aged man was knocked dead by an unidentified two-wheeler vehicle on Monday evening under the jurisdiction of Pratap Nagar police station.
The deceased Umesh Bhimrao Todsas (36) was heading back with his brother Sanjay Prabhakar Marke (43) on his scooty pep (MH 31 DH 6204). A speeding unidentified two-wheeler vehicle dashed into their scooty pep in front of Kamgar Colony road. Umesh lost the balance and Umesh and Sanjay fell from their moped.
Umesh, a resident of Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagar slums, quit his life even before being carried to hospital for treatment. On the complaint of Gopal Abhimaan Tadsas (40), Pratap Nagar police have registered a case under Sections 279, 304 (a) and 337 read with sub sections 134 and 177 of MPA.
