Nagpur: A 32-year old man repeatedly raped a 24-year old woman in her own house by doling out life threats and even thrashed her parents when they strongly protested his heinous acts. The accused has been arrested by Nandanvan police.
The arrested accused has been identified as Ganesh Rambhau Rajput, resident of Ashirwad Nagar, near Trikoni Maidan, Sakkardara. According to police, the accused Ganesh went to the 24-year old woman’s house in Nandanvan area between September 29, 2017 and April 11, 2018, and raped her frequently with the force of life threat. The accused even thrashed the parents of the victimised women when they protested his heinous acts.
Nandanvan PSI H S Thorat, based on the complaint of the rape survivor, booked the accused Ganesh Rajput under Sections 376(2)(N), 323, 506 of the IPC and arrested him. Further probe is underway.
