Nagpur: A high profile sex racket has been busted in a flat located at Khare Town in Dharampeth area here on Friday noon. Sitabuldi police have arrested three people including a couple. Besides, a girl from Akola was also rescued. Sources revealed that many big names might crop up in the inquiry.
According to the information, the accused Saurabh Rajendra Jain, 24, his wife Shweta Saurabh Jain, 22 and his companion Kevin John Chaku, 29 have been running the racket for the past couple of days. Saurabh and Shweta hail from Varaseoni in Balaghat district whereas Kevin belongs to Kerala. Over the last 6-7 months, all the three were staying in a rented flat on second floor of Sadashiv Apartment in Dharampeth. The trio had been operating from the same flat. It is learnt that both Saurabh and Kevin had posted their numbers on social media sites by using fake names of Rahul and Arjun, respectively. As their trade flourished with increasing number of clients, the trio used to lure more innocent girls into the flesh trade.
Meanwhile the social safety department of Sitabuldi police received a tipoff regarding the illegal business. Following this, the cops sent a dummy customer at the sex den. It is revealed that a 21 year old girl from Akola was also rescued after the raid.
