Nagpur: A senior journalist suffered injuries when a car knocked him down in the premises of Nagpur Municipal Corporation headquarters on Wednesday morning. The car reportedly belonged to Smart City Project CEO Ramnath Sonavane. It could not be ascertained whether he was travelling in the car at the time of mishap.
According to sources, the journalist was entering the NMC premises for parking his two-wheeler. At the same time, the speeding car coming from opposite direction, hit the scribe who has not been identified.
Since the scribe was wearing helmet, the mishap left him with bloody injuries at shoulder and legs only. The accused driver of the car has not been identified as well.
