Nagpur: Unknown thieves burgled cash and valuables collectively worth Rs 2.80 lakh from Ajni area on Thursday.
According to information, Raju Prakash Shendre (36), a resident of Gajanan Nagar, Dhruv Apartment, locked his house and had gone out for some work when unidentified thieves broke open the lock and entered the house. The thieves burgled Rs 94,000 and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 2.80 lakh. Raju discovered the theft after returning home. He immediately informed Ajni police about the theft.
Ajni police registered an offence under Sections 454 and 380 of the IPC.
