Nagpur News : A middle-aged man was arrested for molesting a young girl under the jurisdiction of Pratap Nagar police station on Thursday.
The accused Mumtaj Ali Tayyab (41), is a resident of Mehendibagh Colony, Kamptee Road. On Thursday night, the 21-year-old victim was alone in her house. Grabbing the opportunity, Mumtaj barged into her house and tried to outrage her modesty.
On the basis of victim’s complaint, Pratap Nagar police registered an offence of molestation under Sections 354 (a), (2), 323, 448, 506 of the IPC and arrested Mumtaj.
